Healthy eating and nutrition

The links between nutrition and health are increasingly well understood. Poor diet is a factor in the onset and development of most of the chronic diseases common in today’s world: obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, etc.
Conversely, there is evidence that certain good quality diets and foods are beneficial in preventing some diseases. An adequate, balanced and diversified diet is one of the keys to maintaining well-being and to growing, living and ageing healthily.
