Our CSR Commitments

Our Responsibility: Dedicated to Your Health

At PiLeJe, our responsibility stems directly from our mission: to enable everyone to achieve lasting health.

Because human health is inextricably linked to the environment and the relationships that make it possible, we ground our actions in four foundational commitments. These guide our scientific, environmental, social, and societal decisions and translate into measurable goals and concrete actions.

As a family-owned business, we have chosen to go beyond our obligations. We are B Corp™ certified, and our climate trajectory is validated by the SBTi: two rigorous initiatives, typically undertaken by larger corporations, that commit us to continuous improvement.

This commitment is also reflected at our production site, where we have invested more than 30 million euros over the past eight years.

Working with living organisms (probiotics, lactic acid bacteria, plants) requires constant expertise. In September 2025, we inaugurated an additional 1,000 m² and three new laboratories: Analytical Technology Research, Microbiology, and Analytical Production. This expansion increases our production capacity by 25% across all site operations and secures 130 skilled jobs.

Enable everyone to have access to sustainable healthcare

Advancing better-supported healthcare
based on science and proper use

Advancing sustainable healthcare means ensuring that everyone receives the right support, at the right time, and based on solid scientific knowledge.

We are developing a preventive, scientific, and personalized approach to healthcare. Working alongside healthcare professionals, we design healthcare solutions that support their practice, share rigorous clinical guidelines, and ensure their proper use. Our commitment is grounded in the quality of evidence, control over our value chain, and responsible communication.

Our Evidence

  • More than 50 clinical or observational studies
  • 85% of raw materials sourced in Europe

Preserving the Planet

Sustainable health cannot be considered in isolation from the environment. Preserving resources, ecosystems, and all living things is essential to building the health of tomorrow.

We are evolving our industrial, logistics, and procurement practices to reduce our environmental footprint. Our commitment is reflected in a climate trajectory validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)*, eco-design initiatives, ongoing efforts in energy and transportation, and heightened vigilance in the sourcing of our raw materials.

Our Results

  • Reduction in carbon footprint from 21,409 tCO₂e (2022) to 12,946 tCO₂e (2025)
  • 100% of electricity consumed in France comes from renewable sources
  • 85% of raw materials sourced in Europe
  • Goal of zero non-recyclable waste by 2034
  • Climate trajectory validated by the SBTi

Taking Action for the Health
and Development of Our Employees

A company committed to health must also take care of the people who keep it running every day.

We are implementing a social policy based on three priorities: protecting our employees’ health, supporting their professional development, and promoting work-life balance, diversity, and collective engagement. This approach is consistent with our vision of sustainable health, built over time and for the benefit of everyone.

Our Results

  • 750 employees
  • 138 health screenings conducted between 2023 and 2026
  • Gender Equality Index: 94/100
  • 21 hours of training per employee per year
  • 6.2% of employees with disabilities

Climate Commitments
and Targets Validated by the SBTi

To align our climate trajectory with the scientific goals of the Paris Agreement, we have joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)*.

Our climate targets were formally validated by the SBTi on July 31, 2025, in accordance with the criteria of version 5.2 of the SBTi standards:

  • Scopes 1 and 2: We are committed to reducing our absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 58% by 2034, compared to the 2022 baseline year.
  • Scope 3: We are committed to reducing our Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 63.8% per million dollars of value added over the same period.
